‘Boot Camp’ filling up at M TEC About 10 teams, composed of budding entrepreneurs with dynamic business ideas or owners of small companies in need of a new game plan, will take part in the four session "Boot Camp" at KVCC’s Michigan Technical Education Center (M TEC) in early 2004. Not only will they take a giant step toward crafting feasible business development plans and bottom line profits, but the 10 to 12 team entrants will vie for cash prizes of $5,000 and $2,500 to advance their entrepreneurial endeavors. The all day sessions will be held on four consecutive Fridays (Jan. 16, Jan. 23, Jan. 30 and Feb. 6) in the KVCC M TEC, located in The Groves. Each team will be paired with a chief executive officer from a Southwest Michigan company as a mentor and a master’s of business administration student from Western Michigan University as part of the strategizing, conceptualization and developmental process. KVCC business students will also be involved in the program.
