The Bronson Lifestyle Improvement & Research Center, located in The Groves at I-94 & 9th Street in Texas Township, opened in October, 2001. The Center's goal is to improve fitness and wellness levels while reducing healthcare costs to individuals and employers. Research at the center is focused on the correlation between physical activity, education, health status, and healthcare costs.

The 93,000 square foot facility integrates Bronson Methodist Hospital's occupational health, outpatient rehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation programs with the services of a world-class fitness facility. The Bronson Athletic Club, a full service fitness/exercise/sports facility, serves adults who are seeking information, training, and activities to improve their health status whether or not they are currently experiencing health problems. The BAC is a private club where members pay a one-time initiation fee and monthly dues. Bronson Healthcare Group encourages its employees to pursue fitness by reimbursing the monthly membership dues of any employee who works out 8 times per month.

Services provided at the Bronson Lifestyle Improvement and Research Center include, adult exercise and fitness, women's wellness, senior fitness, smoking cessation, sports medicine, stress management, cardiac rehabilitation, chronic disease exercise programs for diabetics and arthritics, physical and occupational therapy, aerobic conditioning, weight management, nutritional counseling, and health risk assessments.
